Minnesota Church Center

The Minnesota Church Center, owned by the Minnesota Council of Churches, is a six-story building that acts as a faith-based nonprofit incubator. Tenants include the Minneapolis Area Synod Evengelical Lutheran Church in America, Minnesota Conference United Church of Christ, Minnesota Annual Conference United Methodist Church, Wellshare International and others. Office space is also available for lease to faith-based nonprofits.

The building has free on-site parking, professional reception staff, Modernist decor, an on-site lunch cafe and multiple meeting spaces. Read a wonderful review of our space by the Downtown Journal. It is also located near Minneapolis' Eat Street, just south of Loring Park and just east of Uptown. Many bus lines stop within a two block radius of the Center.

Meeting Facilities

The Minnesota Church Center’s well-appointed facilities are available to rent for a wide number of meeting needs. We also rent equipment for presentations and teleconferencing.

Please note that if you wish to have food at your meeting you must cater Franklin Terrace Cafe. No outside caterers or foods can be brought into the building for events, meetings, functions or programs of any kind.

provides a wide selection of dishes from chicken, beef and pork main dishes to soups, salads and sandwiches. The café is open to the public from 11:30 AM to 1:30PM Monday through Thursday.

Time Charge (hourly rate):

$65 an hour with a four hour minimum on Saturdays ($260.00)

$65 an hour for off-night meetings (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) for tenant and non-tenant alike.

Setup Charge:

The fee for significant changes to chair and or table arrangements is $65 per hour with a minimum ½ hour charge.
